It seems like you are spending every drop of your energy just to accomplish basic tasks.  You keep trying harder, pushing yourself until you are burnt out and irritable with the people you care about most.

At work you feel like you can barely keep up, you feel jumpy and disconnected and often you end your day feeling behind, unsatisfied and drained.   What’s more, you can’t even seem to relax or savor your time at home. You’ve noticed yourself isolating, spending too much time on your screen with few moments of genuine enjoyment.

 

You feel a bit like the ball in the pinball machine, being batted from one overwhelming situation to another, finding it hard to just feel “ok”.

First, we will learn why you  end up overwhelmed and stressed, even when you are trying to relax.  Then, applying poly vagal theory, we will look at what resources and tools that fit your unique needs, and most importantly, start using them!  Finally, using an internal family systems approach, I can guide you in compassionately and gently letting go of the effects of past experiences that led to your current challenges, so that you can start approaching your days with hope.
